Carol Kalinowski from central Pennslyvania currently owns 10 aquarium tanks. Carol discovered fish at the age of 8 yrs old. That is when she got her very first goldfish. Through the years she has various tropical fish that you normally would find in any mom and pop petshop. It was only about 2-3 years ago that she discovered South America and Central America cichlids, and from that moment on she knew she would soon be addicted!

Carol recently wrote her very first article with the help of Ted Judy (many many thanks!!) and she is looking forward to writing many more in the future.

Carol is completely obsessed with taking images of her fish and often will spend hours in front of a tank to get just the right image.

Carol is a member of the American Cichlid Association and several wonderful fish forums online as well.
