Xiphophorus couchianus (Girard, 1859)

保育: Xiphophorus couchianus 被評鑑為國際自然保育聯盟瀕危物種紅皮書名單中的 (EW) 在野外滅絕 (2018). The species was lost by habitat loss and degradation caused by urban encroachment, sewage pollution, desiccation of the natural springs and competition and predation from introduced invasive alien species (Ceballos et al., 2016). Ojo de Agua de Apodaca has been transformed into an urban recreational pool and the remaining population there has been lost.
