Lozano Vilano, María de Lourdes & S. Contreras-Balderas. 1993. "Four new species of Cyprinodon from southern Nuevo León, Mexico, with a key to the C. eximius complex (Teleostei: Cyprinodontidae)". Ichthyological Explorations of Freshwaters. 4(4):295-308 (ffm00176)

Conservation: Cyprinodon inmemoriam is evaluated by the international union for the conservation of nature in the iucn red list of threatened species as (EX) extinct (1996). The only known specimen was collected in March 17, 1984. Reported extinct in 1986 by Burkhead (2012).
