Conservation: Beside the over extraction of water for agricultural purposes the main concern on this Protected area is the pressure to the natives due to the introduction of Hemichromis guttatus that seems to be impossible to control, on 2008 more than 60,000 individuals were removed using tramps but the population remains steady.
