Conservation: The main conservation problem at La Concha is the huge amount of fish of exotic species, namely Oreochromis aureus and Poeciliopsis gracilis. Cyprinodon nazas are still abundant, but their numbers are much lower than during a previous visit to the place more than ten years ago. I blame this on the exotic species, mainly Poeciliopsis gracilis (Artigas Azas, 2023).
