The main spring at Ojo de Agua del Potosi, El Carmen Lake [Nuevo Leon], some years previous to its complete drought by the unscrupulous extraction of water from the water table, which caused the extinction of two unique species, Cyprinodonn alvarezi and the monotypic Megupsilum aporus.Photo by Andreas Tveteraas.
